InSilixa seeks a Staff Engineer to support the development and production of DNA microarrays and associated component parts for our unique sample-to-answer diagnostics platform.
Basic Description: InSilixa is seeking a highly motivated bioinformatician to join its advanced R&D group focusing on creating CMOS-based molecular diagnostics assays. The primary responsibilities include identifying unique nucleic acid targets, sequences, and signatures in various organisms for nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT) and creating novel, automated methods to design primers and probes for highly multiplexed reactions. Candidates should demonstrate the capability to operate independently, design and analyze complex experiments, and prepare rigorous technical reports.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in bioinformatics or related areas with at least 3 years of post-degree experience in bioinformatics, preferably in industry or a cutting edge and research-oriented academic institution or Master’s degree with experience sufficient to demonstrate equivalency.

Basic Description: We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join the vibrant, multidisciplinary team of InSilixa! The candidate should be comfortable with multiple programming languages, including those used for back-end and front-end web development, should have experience in cloud system architecture and design, and should be excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment. As a Cloud engineer at InSilixa, the candidate will be working closely with both the R&D and product management teams to ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of the company’s next generation systems.
